Writing artist statements is really hard and taxing...for me it is like I have to pull the ideas out of my head and then untangle them into words to create a statement. I agree with the other comment that there is so much that I think I should read again here! Would love to see you soon! xoFaithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15545466344164573258noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6167524131010118800.post-44467082085927317442010-07-26T07:44:36.073-04:002010-07-26T07:44:36.073-04:00There is so much here I have to go back and read i...There is so much here I have to go back and read it several times over and look at the pieces but wanted to say congratulations for the feature in Ruminate and for selling your painting to Japan with the title from As I Lay Dying -- I can't believe how much here is wrapped up in all the things we loved and longed for and were devastated and horrified by (that terrible, unreal morning you called me onto the roof). How you found a way to process it, not to say it's every okay, but that there's a way to bear witness and to still see beauty.Rachel Federmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00954446214849444639noreply@blogger.com
